1779 The Critic

1780 Sheridan entering parliament under the sponsorship of Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, as a Whig politician. He remained in parliament until 1812

1792 Death of his first wife

1795 He married his second wife, Esther Jane, daughter of Newton Ogle, dean of Winchester.

07/07/1816 He died on the 7th of July 1816, and was buried with great pomp in Westminster Abbey.
